Bisazza , a world-leader in the production of glass mosaic has partnered with 20ltd.com, for a pieced limited to only 10 editions. Headquartered in Alte in Vicenza, this dynamic company deftly carries off a remarkable dual objective: to conserve and rediscover working techniques from the Venetian mosaic tradition and to develop and improve the latest digital technologies. Here, using whole tesserae to mirror the photographic pixels, design director Cal Dal Bianco has created a breathtaking wall mosaic of Antonio Canova’s idealized portrayal of Napoleon Bonaparte that is now displayed at No.1 London, Apsley House, residence of the Duke of Wellington.
