made entirely by hand in the czech republic and manufactured in borosilicate glass (pyrex), Molo - float glassware by forsythe and macallen consist of an outer wall and a suspended inner 'cup'.

the materials and the overall design of the pieces enable this glassware to be used with either hot or cold liquids.

the float tea lantern is an award winning design that fits neatly over any tea light - keeping any beverage warm, but the container itself cool to the touch, not to mention providing a unique glow. it also works wonderfully as a decanter / pitcher for any other beverage.

the matcha bowl is designed around the same concept as the float glasses, allowing you to pick up your bowl of soup without burning your hands.

the ‘animal soup’ bowl is twice the size and features a small chicken in the center of the bowl, which has a convex bottom. makes a cute serving bowl for anything from soup to snacks.

note that the tea lanterns, tea cups, and martini glasses are also available with the ‘fritted’ glass option – a frost-like borosilicate frit glaze. this is especially cool on the tea lanterns, because when you have your tea light lit the whole container glows with a diffused light. matching sugar and cream sets are also available.
